Curtain styles
Ripple Fold
Ripple fold hangs in even waves along a track. The stack is regular and the line is calm — a good match for contemporary rooms and wide openings.
The look of a ripple fold
The heading is made to travel on a track with carriers spaced so the folds stay even when the curtain is closed and when it is stacked open. You see a continuous wave rather than grouped pleats.
It works with sheers and with heavier cloth. The track is part of the design, so we choose hardware that can hold the wave without crowding the stack.
Choosing this heading
Ripple fold is often chosen when you want a quiet, even line rather than a traditional pinch. It needs a track, not a decorative rod.
Fabric choice still matters: a light sheer and a dim-out or blackout can hang as two layers, or you can run a single cloth. We look at samples against the room photos.
A good fit when
- Rooms that want an even, contemporary fold
- Wide tracks on sliding doors or living-room windows
- Projects happy to use a track rather than a visible rod
What helps us advise you
- Photos of the opening and the wall or ceiling for the track
- Whether you want sheer, a heavier cloth, or both
- How much space you have for the curtain to stack when open
