Fire Retardant
If you need a curtain cloth with fire-retardant properties, ask what is available. We will not list certificates or standards here; those details belong to the specific fabric you choose.
Ask, then check the cloth
Some projects — guest rooms, shared buildings, or a brief from a designer — call for a fabric described as fire retardant. The shop can tell you what is on hand and what documentation exists for that roll.
Treat this as a specified material, not a generic promise. If you need a named standard, bring that requirement so we can see whether a matching cloth is available.
Still a curtain for the room
Colour, heading, and how the curtain hangs still matter. A fire-retardant option should also work as a sheer, dim-out, or blackout for the way you use the room.
Share the brief you have been given, plus window photos. We will be direct about what we can and cannot supply.
A good fit when
- Projects that have been asked for a fire-retardant curtain cloth
- Guest or shared rooms with a written fabric requirement
- Homes that still need the curtain to handle light and privacy as usual
What helps us advise you
- Any standard or brief you have been given, in writing if you have it
- Window photos and how the room is used
- Whether the curtain should also be sheer, dim-out, or blackout
